Senior Health Editor

Dowden Custom Media is looking for an experienced, senior-level health editor in its Montvale, N.J., office, for the creation of custom health publications and online products. The ideal candidate will have seven years of experience editing and writing health and wellness content, especially women?s health content, for consumer audiences. Management of people and projects is a critical part of this job, therefore content planning, manuscript writing, scheduling, project management and personnel management (including staff members and freelancers) are all core requirements. Other desired traits include client-interaction skills and proven experience juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications or related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
